Emma Johnston

HR Specialist

Emma has over 10 years’ experience working as a Human Resource Generalist both domestically and internationally.

Emma started her professional career at Fonterra in Hamilton, before moving offshore to the Middle East and taking up a generalist HR role for a global organisation.  After returning to New Zealand Emma worked in local government for a number of years.   

Emma has the ability to make quick decisions and a knack for successfully dealing with the unexpected.  Emma enjoys partnering with businesses to truly understand their needs and provide proactive and pragmatic solutions. Using her vast experience across different industries Emma has the ability to understand how to reward people, resolve disputes and communicate effectively. She will work with you to create an environment where your employees are happy and productive.

She works across the full HR remit but has particular experience in resolving employment relationship disputes, change management, and culture. 

Emma has a Bachelor of Business Studies Majoring in Human Resource Management from Massey University.
