Lou Morey

Lou joined the HR Connect Team in September 2014 to provide HR Services to the Bay of Plenty/Waikato regions.  Lou has more than 20 years’ experience in a broad variety of HR roles and industries, and having been self employed as a Consultant for many years, is adept at fitting into different teams and ensuring her advice is practical and delivers for the organization.

Lou's strengths include HR strategy and subsequent action planning, development of policies and procedures, project management of HR initiatives, outplacement support and measuring employee engagement.  Since gaining her MSc (Organisational Psychology) from Otago University, Lou has spent many years involved in primary industry, specifically dairy, meat and horticulture, but also retail, engineering and veterinary sectors.  Lou enjoys working with SMEs where she finds HR has a greater impact and makes a positive contribution to the organisation.

Lou approaches her work with absolute commitment and as an outgoing person, enjoys working with different people and organisations.
